Through Vision West Nottinghamshire College and Vision Apprentices, we are able to offer a wide range of services and training to employers.
We have a track record of successfully working with a range of SMEs and national brands, providing bespoke training packages that have made a measurable difference to business objectives and workforce succession planning.
We can provide the following services to employers looking to develop their workforce through training:
Apprenticeships aren’t limited to young people who are entering the workforce for the first time. Apprentices can be any age, and they can already be employed in your business. If you have identified talent in your organisation, apprenticeships can be an effective way of developing their skills in a specific job role and moulding them to fit the needs of your business.
Professional courses for business support and management development
We can offer a wide range of courses accredited by professional bodies such as CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing), CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians), CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) and the ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management).
These qualifications are recognised as the standard within each respective profession, and in many cases are required for progression to higher-level positions. We offer courses at all levels – from those just starting out, to those with senior managerial or leadership responsibilities.
In partnership with the University of Derby, Birmingham City University and Edexcel, we can offer a range of HNCs, HNDs, foundation degrees and full honours degrees. These can be delivered flexibly with part-time and full-time options or to specific groups if you have a large number of employees undertaking the same qualification.
Foundation degrees are written in collaboration with local employers to ensure that content and skills development meet industry standards and expectations. Employers are also involved in the formal validation process.
Some provision is employer-driven, such as the new modules on one of our ‘top-up’ degrees, and a foundation degree in the service sector.
Bespoke training packages
We have built a number of on-going successful relationships with large companies in the UK, such as Center Parcs, Browne Jacobson, Boots, Advanex and the NHS. Many of our clients require a bespoke approach to training and development that fits in with their company ethos and way of doing business.
