St Patrick honoured with Irish menu
Students at West Nottinghamshire College’s BAY6 coffee bar and café will be celebrating St Patrick’s Day in style this month.
In celebration of the Irish saint’s day, learners will be serving up traditional Irish cuisine from 18-22 March.
Dishes on offer will be potato soup with soda bread for £1.50, beef and Guinness pie with colcannon and carrots for £3 and a choice of two puddings – chocolate Guinness cake for £1 or Irish cream cheesecake for 60p.
Food will be available from 10.00am to 2pm, with tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches also served during these times at the centre in Woodhouse Road, Mansfield.
People can just turn up although parties of eight or more are advised to book a table on 01623 413027.
BAY6 is open to the public for hot and cold refreshments and provides a practical training and working environment for students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
