An enterprising start to the New Year

A Mansfield businesswoman will be sharing the secrets to her success with budding entrepreneurs at West Nottinghamshire College next week.

Alison Constantine, co-owner of Atmospheric Interiors on Oxford Street in Mansfield Woodhouse, will be guest speaker at the college’s first enterprise advice session of 2014 on Tuesday (14 January).

She will share her story of how she went from working in the banking industry to starting up and successfully running her own interior design company.

Alison will provide members of Vision Entrepreneur with the opportunity to have a question and answer session while discussing key aspects of business success such as marketing a business and yourself, the value of a company’s brand, company growth strategies and the kind of personal attributes one needs to succeed.

Vision Entrepreneur is designed to coach those with business ideas of their own and to offer tips from industry experts at its monthly advice sessions.  Those whose ideas have the most potential will receive one-to-one mentoring and the backing to develop their business plans further.

People who are interested in joining the information session, which runs from 12-1pm, should contact Anthony Robinson at the college on 01623 627191 ext 8253 or email Anthony.Robinson@wnc.ac.uk
