Step into The Time Machine
Nunkie, the theatre company behind the acclaimed M R James Trilogy, is bringing H G Wells’ science fiction classic to life in a thrilling one-man show in The Time Machine.

Coming to Create Theatre during its UK tour on Friday 18 July, Nunkie Theatre and Robert Lloyd Parry bring an adapted, atmospheric and entertaining version of The Time Machine to Mansfield.
The show, which starts at 7.30pm, will amaze the audiences with a tale from 1895, which begins in a suburban garden, beneath a waning moon, with a man lying dazed beside a remarkable machine.
The man has a story to tell – a story of darkness and light, of fire and fear and of Eloi and Morlocks. It’s an unbelievable story about our future that he insists is true. Is it a joke? A prophecy? A dream?
Robert Lloyd Parry recently played MR James in Mark Gatiss’ BBC 2 documentary Ghost Writer shown on Christmas Day 2013. He is taking his stage adaptation of The Time Machine on tour through May, June and July.
