Christmas comes to college café
Students at West Nottinghamshire College’s BAY6 coffee bar and café are putting the finishing touches to their Christmas menu ready for more than a fortnight of festive fayre.
From 3 to 18 December visitors to the centre can enjoy Mrs Claus’ Christmas parsnip soup for £1.50, followed by roast turkey with sage and onion stuffing, sausages in bacon and vegetables for £4. For dessert diners can enjoy yuletide log with cream for £1.
Food will be available from 10.00am to 2pm Monday to Friday, with tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches also served during these times at the venue in Woodhouse Road, Mansfield.
BAY6 is open to the public for hot and cold refreshments and provides a practical training and working environment for students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
People can just turn up although parties of eight or more are advised to book a table on 01623 413027.
